Regardless, good news: The weekend is back with a variety of things to do. Whether you’re looking to join in a Bud Light park clean up, go for a family nature walk, or celebrate with a Northern Liberties street festival, Philly is the place to be. Here are Philly’s best events for the weekend of August 1-3, 2014:

The project, recognized by the EPA for setting the standard for a national model for green infrastructure, catapulted Philly to the forefront for stormwater management. Why is stormwater a concern?

Oh hey there, new logo. Although we liked the hot mess of our previous logo, it was time for a makeover as we hinted in our blogiversary. We thought long and hard about what captured the essence of Green Philly. Get the full story, after the jump!

My top two passions in life are sustainability and traveling. When Citizens Diplomacy International (CDI) Philadelphia invited me to represent the local green media and meet with five Indonesians in Philadelphia to discuss the US's take on sustainability (back in June), I enthusiastically accepted.
