SustainPHL
Ready to celebrate the people making Philly greener? SustainPHL (aka Philly’s “Green Oscars”) is back for its 9th year!
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, we’re bringing Philadelphia’s sustainability community together at our new home, the German Society of Pennsylvania, for a night of great food and drinks, new connections, and plenty of inspiration.
SustainPHL celebrates the changemakers, nonprofits, businesses, civic leaders and big ideas moving our region forward. It’s a chance to get dressed up, meet people doing incredible work and celebrate what’s possible when Philly’s sustainability community comes together.
Even better? SustainPHL is a fundraiser for Green Philly, helping support our independent local journalism, events and year-round work connecting Philadelphians with local sustainability solutions.

Green Philly EcoFair
What if living sustainably felt less overwhelming… and a lot more fun?
Green Philly’s award-winning EcoFair is our free, family-friendly sustainability festival, bringing thousands of Philadelphians together to discover practical ways to live greener and get involved locally.
Held each spring at Cherry Street Pier, EcoFair transforms the Delaware River waterfront into a sustainability playground with 50+ local businesses, nonprofits, artists and community partners, plus hands-on activities, workshops, demonstrations, local food and plenty to explore.
You might get your bike tuned up, repair a favorite piece of clothing, recycle hard-to-recycle items, make some art, discover a local nonprofit or meet the people behind sustainable businesses and solutions happening right here in our region.
Launched in 2024, EcoFair has grown into one of Green Philly’s biggest community events and earned a LION Product of the Year Award along the way.
It’s sustainability you can actually see, try and take home with you. And it’s completely free.
