Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative (LFFC) is looking for volunteers to host weekly Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) deliveries of fresh, organic produce to neighborhoods in the Philadelphia area.  Members purchase a subscription to receive a box of fresh, high quality produce from a local farm on a weekly basis. Hosts can help support local, sustainable family farmers and widening access to local products directly to the Philadelphia community.  I picked up my friend’s CSA once at the farm on a July afternoon- but it’s so nice the CSAs can come to your ‘hood!

Volunteers can host a weekly CSA pickup at their home or business.  LFFC will host a “Site Host Information Session” with presentations by staff farmers and hosts, followed by a Q & A onFebruary 15, 2012 from 6:30-8 at Ultimo Coffee (1900 South 15th St).
