Join the Appalachian Mountain Club for a trail maintenance workday on Wednesday, June 17th, in partnership with the Friends of Germany Hill and Roxborough–Manayunk Conservancy. Learn about the behind-the-scenes work that goes into caring for Philadelphia’s trails, get outside with friends and neighbors, and help to make these spaces more sustainable, safe, and welcoming for our community!
You can expect to use hand tools to trim trees and plants overgrowing the trail and to close old trails in a way that promotes new plant growth. Snacks will be provided. Visit the event site below for more details and to register!
