Happy Friday! This week, we learned from Next City that New York has a StreetsPAC for more pedestrian & biking friendly cities. Perhaps Philly can follow suite? Thanks to Be Well Philly for confirming our Runner's High and Hidden City Philadelphia for taking us to an underground 4-million gallon sewage & storage tank. And obviously, Generocity's piece about chickens from Nic Esposito made us rethink our compost bins (but not really...) Find out what to do over the weekend, after the jump!

It's official: The PA Conference for Women is sold out. If you're lucky enough to have snagged a ticket, get psyched for a lineup of power women including Jill Abramson, Diane Keaton, and Robin Roberts. This day-long conference based in our city has loads of programming about career development, personal finance, entrepreneurship, social media and way more. Plus, what's better than being inspired for a day and reengage in the community?

Are you ready for that sound? History is being made this weekend. The People's Climate March is pegged to be the biggest in history on Sunday, 9/21 in this smack middle of Manhattan. With over 1000 groups coordinating the march, citizens are proving a point to our global leaders that our pathetic inaction on climate change ain't cutting it. They're expecting 100,000 people. Let's back up.

Feeling like fall, yet? If you were lucky enough to get out this weekend, temperatures were perfect for a run or bike ride. After a vacation and bronchitis, I happily got my legs moving on a bike ride over the weekend to enjoy the crisp air and ever present Philly views. Who's ready to start the week with a bang? Whether you want to hear serious discussion on what Philly's doing about Climate Change; drink with vegans, builders or local food advocates; or sprint your heart out to work (while admiring park(ing) spaces), this week's going to be awesome.
