As our internship program continues, you'll see a couple of new faces 'round these parts.   Each new face brings something new to the table, and we're SO proud to introduce our new interns for Fall 2014! We'll let them tell you about themselves:

Are you interested in sustainability and making an impact locally? Enjoy supporting local businesses and organizations? This internship combines real-life journalism and marketing skills for an audience that cares about making a difference. The editorial interns at Green Philly are instrumental at increasing the content on our website, including research, interviews, attending events and networking within the industry. At the end of the semester, you’ll have an online, real-world portfolio full of content that future employers can see. Plus, you’ll learn how to optimize SEO, social media and more. We have 3 open positions within journalism, marketing and/or web development.

Philadelphia Sustainability Blog Seeking Student Interns (Part-Time/Flexible Schedule) Want to gain an online portfolio full of content that future employers can see? Or are you looking for digital marketing tactics like SEO, Social Media & increasing traffic? The blogging interns at Green Philly Blog are instrumental at increasing the content on our website, as well as participate in Social Media, SEO and other potential opportunities. We have a 2 open positions and can provide experience in a variety of areas. Commitment each week is 10 hours minimum. BLOGGER/EDITOR The Blogger/Editor will be responsible for contributing to blog content, and growing web traffic by tactics like Social Media, SEO, responding to comments, researching content ideas, managing public relations inquiries, proofreading and more. Big news today: This post is the 1000th post we've published on Green Philly Blog! We just celebrated 5 years of publishing in July and have seen blogging evolve tons since we started. Although we're typically not a behind-the-scenes publication, I've decided to make an exception in today's post.
