Circle Compost offers tree pickup and recycling the weekends of January 4th, 11th and 18th for $20.

Feed your Christmas Tree to goats.

Philly Goat project offers Tree-cycling and a free festival at the Farm at Awbury (6626 Ardsleigh Street) on January 4th and 11th, and Laurel Hill West Cemetery on Saturday, January 18th.

Drop off your tree in your neighborhood.

Many neighborhood associations offer tree recycling.

• Fishtown hosts its Treecycling on Saturday, January 4th, from 10 am to 2 pm at the former Greensgrow site (2501 E. Cumberland St). Suggested $5 donation.
• Lower Moyamensing Civic Association offers treecycling on Saturday, January 4th, and Sunday, January 5th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Philadelphia High School (2101 S. Broad St). $ 5 donation per tree.
• Northern Liberties allows drop-offs at Liberty Lands now through January 19th. Suggested $5 donation via Venmo.
• Passyunk Square Civic Association hosts treecycling on Saturday, January 11th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Columbus Square Park (13th & Wharton Streets). $5 donation per tree.
• South Philly Green offers treecycling at Manton Green (17th & Manton Streets) on Saturday, January 6th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested.

Participate in the City Tree Recycling Program

The City of Philadelphia’s annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program is a sustainable way to give live trees another purpose. The program runs from Monday, January 6, through Saturday, January 18, providing residents with several convenient drop-off options.

Drop off your tree at any of the six Sanitation Convenience Centers, open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

• 2601 W. Glenwood Avenue
• Domino Lane & Umbria Street
• 3901 N. Delaware Avenue
• State Road & Ashburner Street
• 5100 Grays Avenue

Additionally, 13 designated drop-off locations will be open on Saturday, January 11, and Saturday, January 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
