Reuse Fruit & Veggie Containers? WCI Weds
Whether you’re getting a weekly share of your veggies from a CSA, farmer’s market or grocery store, it’s easy to end up with a stack of those veggie cartons.
So what can you do with all those extra cardboard & plastic boxes and cartons? It’s a perfect question for… Where Can I Wednesday?
- Give them back to the farmer. If you have a CSA pickup, drop it off at your host location.
- Donate them to farmers at your Farmer’s Markets. They always appreciate it.
- Refuse the containers in the first place. Bring smaller mesh bags or DIY produce bags to give back the container before taking your veggies home.
Readers, what do you do with leftover veggie containers?
