Need a break from the cold? Here’s 15 local orgs warming our community’s hearts during our volunteer matchmaking event.
Here’s who they met and who you can volunteer with, too.
Last night, Green Philly hosted our 3rd annual Volunteer Matchmaking Mixer at Temple University. Once again, this event reminded us why we love bringing our community together. Neighbors from across Philly came ready to stop doomscrolling and start doing.
This event is all about connection. We bring people face-to-face with local organizations doing meaningful work, so getting involved feels accessible and energizing. The night was filled with curiosity, purpose, and new possibilities.
Hereโs who they met – and more about the incredible groups doing the work.
Here are the orgs that participated:
- Big Brothers, Big Sisters Independence
- Circular PHL
- Committee of Seventy
- Discovery Center
- Mother of Mercy House
- Philly Food Rescue
- PHLASK Ecosystems
- Resource Exchange
- Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education
- Sharing Excess
- Strawberry Mansion NAC
- Susquehanna Clean Up / Pick Up
- The Block Gives Back
- The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary (PDE)
