Celebrate your Mom: Weekend Events May 8-10, 2015
With Philly Mayoral election gaining momentum, lots is going on around Philly.
On Thursday, the World Trade Centers Association, a pro-globalization “branding” organization, gave their “Global Business Leadership” Award to Phil Rinaldi, CEO of Philadelphia Energy Solutions. However, local Philadelphians had alternative ideas.
‘Philadelphia Energy Solutions’ is a company produces over 70% of the toxic emissions in Philly and Phil Rinaldi’s plan is to turn Philly into a massive dirty fossil fuel hub. Instead, local activists chose to give Rinaldi the “Philly Dark Heart Award.”
