Philly announces Sustainability Tours
The GREEN Program, Philadelphia Urban Adventures & Office of Sustainability announces socially-minded tours.
Want to explore local food? Conservation? Green Infrastructure?
Sustainable Philadelphia Tours are here, thanks to a collaboration between The GREEN Program (TGP) and Philadelphia Urban Adventures, The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Sustainability.
Visitors and residents alike can learn about sustainability practices, based on their agenda for these customizable tours ranging from two to ten hours.
As Director of Office of Sustainability Christine Knapp said in a press release,
“From Bartram’s Garden to Lincoln Financial Field, from green infrastructure sites to solar installations, there are countless ways to see sustainability on display in Philadelphia. This new tour program helps Philadelphia showcase our ‘green country town’ and all the ways our communities are making Philadelphia a more sustainable city every day.”
