Philly is the #5 Best City for Living Without a Car
I got rid of my car 2 years ago (OK – maybe it was smashed...) and haven’t looked back.
I’ve discovered how easy it is to live in Philly without a car – especially how added bike lanes, Zipcar, Indego and Uber/Lyft have infiltrated the city.
Redfin just (officially) named Philly the #5 best city for living car-free, due to our high Walk Score, public transportation and bike commuting options. Plus, builders are focusing on creating walkable new construction throughout the city, especially in No Libs, Fishtown, Frankford, South Philly & Point Breeze.
Readers, what secrets do you have for getting around Philly without a car?
