Happy Friday! Hope you’ll been outside soaking up some of the last rays of August this weekend (or last night, a la Diner En Blanc). Here’s a few green links & news you may have missed:

• Are you new to biking, and want to hop on the commuting bandwagon in the #1 city to do so? Philly Mag has tips for commuting cyclists.
• Brushing my teeth is my #1 fav hygienic activity. But MNN lets us know how do people around the world clean their chompers?
• Talking about upcycling – this dude creates new furniture out of old car & motorcycle parts!
• According to Treehugger, the US drought is so bad it’s visible from Space!
• Sierra Club updated their 10 fav green schools! Check out if yours made the list.
• Skinny Jeans, sales on shoes & a sweet marked-down shirt make any guy (or gal’s) day. But do you ever think of the “real” cost of these threads?
• Ugh, Frack off. Here’s an update on New York’s latest fracking news.
• What green guilt do you have? Sandy Bauers explores!
• New Jersey is following our plastic bag lead! They’re talking about banning the plastic bag across the river. (Sign our petition to ban plastic bags in Philly if you haven’t!)
