As for what you missed this week:

• The Senate defeated legislation to build the Keystone XL pipeline. WOOHOO! Unfortunately, PA Senators Casey AND Toomey voted to pass the pipeline… but they were beat.  Keep your eyes peeled – the vote could potentially come up again, and we don’t want it to pass.
• PA Fracking-influenced water results are due this week. We’re assuming the report will be radioactive and catching fire, just like in Gasland.
• Reality TV “Stars” Melissa Gorga (Real Housewives of New Jersey) is coming to the Philadelphia Flower Show today, March 9^th from 5-7 PM, and Bethenny Frankel is coming tomorrow from 2:30-4:30 PM. Both castmembers will be in the Grand Hall. (Yawn. We prefer meeting Drew Becher.)
• You can buy these green glasses made from repurposed Jameson Bottles… pretty sweet from Thrillist.
• eForce Compliance recycles “Anything with a Plug” again tomorrow (Saturday, March 10^th) from 9 AM – 1 PM at the Upper Darby high School.
• Congrats to our reader Dennis who won tickets to the Phila Historical Home Show this weekend!
• There’s also a few tickets left to the Brewer’s Plate 2012 for this Sunday at the National Constitution Center, which features a lot of local brews & foods.
