He has reported for WHYY, PlanPhilly, WNYC, Shelterforce, NJ Spotlight, Distillations, Onclive, Philadelphia Weekly and Grid. He was previously an editor and reporter at the Trenton Times, and a reporter at the Hartford Advocate and the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune. He studied at the Columbia University School of Journalism, Brandeis University and UC Berkeley.
