Ever feel a little overwhelmed? As I paddleboarded into the massive lake, I felt it: the anxious feeling. Often I have anxiety about upcoming events – although sometimes nothing in particular, I often feel on edge. As I paddled into the lake, I was alone. TTF Watershed’s Office Warming Party on 9/17

Our friends over at the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership is welcoming friends into their new office at the Globe Dye Works. Visit their new space during the 'Office Warming Party" on September 17th from 5:30 to 7 PM. The Globe Dye Works is a converted factory building in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Located at 4500 Worth Street, the building first opened in 1865, running a yard dyeing business.

Greenfest Philly 2013 – Photo Recap

Did you make it to the hottest green event of the weekend? Greenfest Philly 2013, hosted by Clean Air Council, took Headhouse by storm on Sunday for thousands of attendees. The day was full of gorgeous weather, enthusiastic participants and greenies of all ages. The outdoor beer garden was booming with partakers. Bands entertained us as a few festival showcasers entertained us while sharing their green initiatives. Nonprofits, vendor booths and more helped attendees become a little more green.
