Looking for an all-star garden-to-table affair, complete with locavores, wine and more? PHeaSt is the place to be this Friday, October 17th from 7-10 PM at the Navy Yard in South Philly. Complete with recycled props from the Flower Show for an "industrial-chic" setting, seasonal dishes, gardening teams and the opportunity to chat with chefs, PHeaSt is perfect for foodies or locavores. For over 20 years, PHS has been successfully hosting Tree Tenders classes in the Philadelphia area. Whether you use your knowledge to plant trees in your region, your community, or just your yard, you’ll be making a huge difference!

Get ready to eat & drink locally, my friends: the 2nd annual PHeaSt at the Navy Yard is tonight! Chefs & urban growers from around our region prepare seasonal dishes to benefit the PHS City Harvest program, which provides fresh, nutritious produce to under-resourced neighborhoods. The annual Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Pop Up Garden is taking over the University of the Arts campus, at the lot consuming 313 S. Broad Street.
