Our favorite Spring day returns once again, this year! Gather your brooms, shovels & rakes! Philly Spring Cleanup Day 2014 The 7th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup Day returns on Saturday, April 5, 2014 (with the rain day on Saturday, April 12). The 2013 efforts boasted over 13,000 volunteers collecting 1,014,540 pounds of trash (and an additional 23,341 recycled goods!) across the city.

Hi. My name is Julie, and I'm addicted to Lithe Method. I've witnessed others try this workout since the first studio opened while I was living in Northern Liberties. Beth had her bout of Lithe Method addiction. But I didn't think it could happen to me. As a loyal PSC customer for over 6 years, I checked my attendance record in September. 10. times. total. (in 6 months.) My warmer months were spent running and biking, but I needed something new for the winter. As many of you may see on our Instagram and Twitter feeds, my new pet Pouncey has quite the range of accessories since his adoption. Although he does try to reduce his carbon catprint, we were both offended when my 'Pouncey toys & treats' mail order came with a box filled of packing peanuts. Who's ready to Keep Up the Sweep Up again? The Streets Department's 6th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup Day will be return on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 9 AM - 2 PM. 2012 efforts achieved over 350 projects, 12,000 volunteers and 1 million pounds of trash. Can we try to top it for 2013? We're happy to return to our hosting site of 2012, which is 8th & Poplar in Northern Liberties. Happy New Years Eve! 2012 has been quite eventful for Philadelphia, especially with these 6 Philly green initiatives. Green Philly Blog's year was full of furthering sustainability, both online and off. We hosted a Philly Spring Cleanup Day Site in Northern Liberties, removing many pounds of trash and debris from a shared sports park.
