SustainPHL is Philadelphia’s annual sustainability awards and celebration, hosted in the Fall. This engaging, spirited, and informative event helps raise sustainability awareness, celebrate our community’s achievements, and share easy ways live a sustainable lifestyle.
SustainPHL is hosted by Green Philly and organized by a chair committee.
The entire event is sustainable, true to its name. In the past, we’ve had onsite recycling and composting by Circle Compost, public transit at the Academy of Natural Sciences and a bike share-friendly location, and awards created from reclaimed wood. Our Voting Committee consists of the previous award ceremony’s honorees and local sustainability organizations, including Sustainable Business Network and Philadelphia’s Office of Sustainability.
