Treecycling: Important Update!

Additional dates and neighborhoods have been added to help Philly area folks recycle their trees!

 Don’t let your Christmas tree contribute to needless waste. Philadelphia is not collecting Christmas tree at the curb. If you dump your tree at the curb –  it’s headed for a landfill!

Treecycling drop off dates this weekend (updated):

BEFORE JANUARY 9TH, YOU CAN DROP OFF YOUR TREE TO:
Greensgrow Farms: 2501 East Cumberland
The Garden Center: Frankford and Berks

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA:
DATE: Saturday, January 9, 2010 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Columbus Square Park (Corner of 13th & Reed streets)

NORTHERN LIBERTIES AREA:
DATE: Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th, 10am – 4pm
LOCATION: Liberty Lands (900 block of North 3rd Street)

MOUNT AIRY/CHESTNUT HILL AREA:
DATE: Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th, 10am – 4pm
LOCATION: Allens Lane Art Center (601 Allens Lane)

PASSYUNK SQUARE/QUEEN VILLAGE:
DATE: Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th, 10am – 4pm
LOCATION: Capitolo Garden (10th and Federal Streets)

and JANUARY 9TH ONLY: Fishtown Rec Center (Montgomery and Moyer)
