“Ya Fav Trashman” has his eyes on a City Council seat
Terrill Haigler is trying to widen his platform from Instagram to the City of Brotherly love.
Terrill Haigler began as a sanitation worker. After building a large social media following and launching his own hauling company, he’s announced his latest ambition: a City Council At-Large seat.
Haigler announced the run on Saturday, September 3rd (on his 33rd birthday) during a community cleanup in North Philly.
Haigler has been recognized as a “Changemaker” by Waste360 Magazine, published his first children’s book, and cleaned up nearly 500 tons of trash in Philadelphia.
“I feel that the everyday Philadelphian don’t have a voice that is being heard when critical decisions are being made for their way of life in this city. My goal is to become the working voice for everyday Philadelphians on City Council” said Haigler.
