Get your Locavore On: Weekly Roundup for October 20-24
Fall brings bright colors, chilly weather, and most importantly, great seasonal foods. It also brings the Forbes 30 under 30 Summit, where our friends at MilkCrate are pitching for a grand prize worth over $400,000.
It’s the best time of the year to bake fresh apple pie, simmer-up squash soup, or candy sweet potatoes. If you’re not up for cooking yourself this week, there’s a few great spots around Philly for delicious local eats.

- Third Annual School Fair: Center City Residents Association (CCRA), Logan Square Neighborhood Association (LSNA) and South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) are hosting a School Fair to help parents research elementary school options, to make it easier for parents to “shop” for local schools. Representatives from public, charter, parochial and private schools will be available to answer parents’ questions and provide literature about their schools as well as pertinent enrollment information.
