Learn how to make a difference in Philly this Monday
Do you find yourself getting pissed at everyday norms in the city, but have no idea how to get started to make a real change locally?
Clean Water Action, Temple University, and PennFuture are teaming up this Monday for an Advocacy 101 training.
According to an email from Micheal Roles, Clean Water Action:
“Young folks who are eager to take part in tackling local real-life community challenges will first receive a primer on basic advocacy and campaign development skills. From there, attendees will be provided a framework and have the opportunity to use their new-found skills when they form breakout groups to identify a local sustainability challenge, agree on a solution, and further collaborate together to begin building out an advocacy campaign around it.”
Essential Deets:
- Monday, October 19th
- 5:30PM – 7:30PM
- Temple University Science Education & Research Center (SERC, 12th St. & Polett Walk), Room 108 AB
RSVP here to get in on the Monday change action.
