  • Women Bike PHL Coffee Club: Join ladies throughout the city to meet up & talk about all things biking. Honeys Sit and Eat (2101 South St); Wednesday July 29th at 8 AM; Facebook RSVP. 
  • Venture 0n: Local Art & Business Community Event: Celebrating the sectors and people who are shaping the future of our city, Venture 0n will bring together business and technology leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and others at Underground Arts with an evening of live music, great food, keynotes from local leaders, high-value networking, and lots of fun. Thursday, July 30th at 7 PM; $25, Underground Arts; RSVP.

Weekend Events for July 31 – August 2nd

  • July Blue Moon Bike Ride: Howl with fellow bikers throughout Philadelphia. Meet at the Art Museum steps and prep to bike throughout Philly. Friday, July 31 at 9 PM; Art Museum Steps, FB RSVP.
  • Invasive Plant Brewing: Love beer & plants? The art of American beer brewing goes back centuries before our founding fathers experimented with grains, molasses, and even spruce to create their concoctions. Experiment with invasive plants and learn the basics of making beer with Home Brewed Events. While the beer is brewing, come on a hike and learn about the history of beer and brewing, as well as how to identify edible plants commonly found in Philadelphia forests. Pre-registration required. Saturday, August 1 from 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm, cost: $50. More info & Sign up.
  • Swiftlessons: Intro to Guitar: Join this crash course with 4 group lessons and a private lesson with Rob Swift. Sundays 1:30 – 2:30, starting August 2nd; Old Pine Community Center, 401 Lombard St, Philadelphia PA. Tickets. Get a friend of GPB discount with this code.
