Hope you’re getting a chance to enjoy these snow days in the city. It can be pretty, right?

This week was eventful. The Philadelphia Flower Show is in town (make sure to prep with our guide), we attended the Next Great City Mayoral Form (and shared the candidate’s green goals), and reviewed February’s best of events, thanks to Generocity.

Weekend Events for March 6 -8, 2015

• Today: DVGBC Tri-State Sustainability Symposium. Walk-in registrations welcome, and it’s a great idea to catch this event.
• First Friday: The city is full of events in arts and more to celebrate the first friday of the month. North Bowl has a photo show with snacks, drink specials & more. March 6th, 9 PM, 909 N 2nd St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19123, Facebook RSVP.
• Black Tie Event / Fundraiser. Philly Yoga factory has cocktails, snacks and music to set the mood to kick of their Indiegogo fundraiser. Regardless of the name, this event is a lot more casual. Saturday, March 7th, 8-midnight, $10, 1520 Sansom St, 4th Floor. More info.
• The Brewer’s Plate: Our favorite locavore food & drink event returns. Check the full post for details and photos of us drinking with Ben Franklin. Sunday March 8, 2015, 6:30 PM.
