July’s hot and only getting hotter
Temperature trends show an increase in local temps
July is the hottest month of the year, and only getting hotter.
Over the past 40 years, July has increased by 3.7°F in Philadelphia according to Climate Central. Nationally, July temps have increased by 2.1°F since 1970.
This 4th of July may not have broken records, but the hottest holiday was in 1966 at 103°F.
