Hillary Clinton Just Gave Green City, Clean Water Props in Speech

NBD — The former Secretary of State (and soon-to-be Madame President if the whole country doesn’t lose their minds in a few weeks)  just gave major props to Green City, Clean Waters with Al Gore by her side in a Miami speech. Having returned from Austin’s SXSW Eco, I questioned if she eavesdropped on Bill Nye’s speech…

“We need to invest in resilient infrastructure. In Philadelphia, they’re trying something new: green roofs, porous pavement and curbside gardens that absorb stormwater.”

Watch the full clip here, circa 15:30 to get pumped about clean energy, with Philly’s shoutout circa 17:20:

Our pals at Green City Clean Waters won the 2016 SustainPHL Climate Hero award.
