‘Ecotactical’ Art Exhibit celebrates conservation, environmental justice & activism; debuting soon at Schuylkill Center
Art exhibit continues to celebrate Earth Day at 50, proving Earth Day is Every Day in 2020.
After a pandemic closure, the Schuylkill Center has reopened its Visitor Center to the public with a new exhibit.
Ecotactical: Earth Day at 50 will be debuted on September 21st, and displayed in the Center’s gallery and on trails. Originally scheduled for April, this exhibition is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. (April 22nd was officially Earth Day, but we were alll at home.)
Works will include themes of conservation activism, urban farming, invasive and endangered species, environmental and racial justice, community organizing, and more.
Featured artists include artists Ants on a Log, Nicole Donnelly, Julia Way Rix, Kristen Neville Taylor, Tools for Action, Sophy Tuttle, Water
