Quick Tip – Weekday Lunch Ideas
Lunch-breaks are always a nice interruption to your chaotic work-days. Trying to green your midday dining?
- Try packing your lunch. You’ll save some cash as well as takeout materials when you buy ingredients & prepare your own meal.
- Of course there are times when you need fresh air and a break from the office. Head to a local restaurant or cafe. Huge portions are par for the course these days, so avoid wasting by taking your leftovers home. Many restaurants give plastic conatiners that can be washed & re-used for your packed lunches for the rest of the week.
- If you get takeout ask for least amount of packaging. Avoid plastic bags or silverware when you can, and keep a stash of silverware/cups/etc at your desk so you can re-use your own.
