
Brewer’s Plate 2015: Locavore Recap
The Brewer’s Plate 2015 delivered on its annual promise of local food paired with delicious beers and and all-star crowd.
Held at the Kimmel Center again, we saw a few of our favs and new food discoveries.
Victory’s co-founder Bill Covaleski poured his brew for Brewer’s Plate. It was no surprise that they had their favs (and a few new brews) on tap, especially after that they were such a great hit for our own Big Green Party.
Yards was happily pouring for the crowd.
Wild Flour Bakery’s sticky buns with a beer glaze was a sweet change-up.
One of my new fav discoveries was Obis One’s Black Garlic. This aged and fermented, organic raw garlic was addicting. Their product’s name of ‘Black Crack” was fitting for my newfound addiction…
After hearing buzz about Manatawny Still Works based in Pottstown, it was great to sample this new Distillery.
