3C @ 3B: Climate, community & conversations
September series: Climate Communication, Public Perception, and Misinformation
Communication is at the forefront of tackling climate change, developing effective adaptation and mitigation strategies, and driving societal change. How can we effectively communicate on such a complex problem? How can we develop trust in scientists and scientific results while combating the spread of misinformation?
To kick off the Fall TripleC @ TripleB series, we will hear from Temple University Assistant Professor of Advertising and Public Relations,Â
Dr. Meghnaa Tallapragada, andÂ
FactCheck.org staff writer,
Kate Yandell, as they discuss their work and experience in climate communication, public perception, and misinformation. Both speakers will deliver short informal lectures followed by an audience Q & A on this important and timely topic.
About Triple C at Triple B
A public lecture series hosted by Triple Bottom Brewing, focused on local climate and sustainability research and advocacy opportunities in Philadelphia.
Climate, community & conversations is a space for education, engagement, and community building around climate and sustainability challenges. Everyone is welcome to join this conversation, learn about the latest in research and help bring the value of this learning and problem solving out into the community.
This is not your typical lecture – we will talk with one another over sustainable brews and share in fellowship as we work to address the issues you care about.
