Join Fair Trade Philadelphia for a fun-filled afternoon to learn about the history of block printing and to try your hand at it!
The workshop will take place at Cherry Street Pier and will be led by Ritu Jadwani, fair trade educator and founder of Namaste NYC, and facilitated by the Fair Trade Philadelphia Steering Committee.
Bring your own garment, bag, fabric and/or paper to print on, and we will supply the ink and blocks! A limited supply of jute reusable bags will be available and stock cards for a donation (Cash or Venmo). Also, feel free to wear a smock or clothing you wouldn’t mind getting dirty!
