Resource Fair
March 29 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Come by to the Discovery Center and learn more about organizations within Strawberry Mansion, and neighboring communities, that are working to improve neighborhood and environmental issues. Resources given will focus on trash pickups, weatherizing the home, property services, community gardens, utilizing green spaces, recreational programs, etc.
Organizations include: Ya Fav Trashman, Fair Amount Food Forest, Strawberry Mansion N.A.C., LIHEAP, Fairmount Park Conservancy, Energy Coordinating Agency, Real Life CDC, Brewerytown Garden, Dept. of Environmental Protection, Clean Air Council, Physicians For Social Responsibility, Audubon Mid-Atlantic.
These organizations have resources you can take home, and free refreshments will be available. Join a weatherization workshop led by the ECA, and stick around for our Discovery Day that includes free rock climbing.
