DYK: Petty’s Island, a 350-acre island on the Delaware River is off-limits to the public and holds a deep history of industrial use, environmental harm, and now, renewal.
We’re inviting Green Philly members on an exclusive tour on July 8th at 9 AM to explore the island’s tidal marshes, spot wildlife like bald eagles, and learn how this space is being reclaimed for community and nature.
