MECRO volunteer teams take hands-on, direct responsibility for our local green spaces to demonstrate the practical utility of civic self-governance and environmental stewardship. Operating completely with our own cleanup tools and sanitation supplies, our bi-weekly neighborhood mobilization sweeps are dedicated to removing litter, clearing hazardous debris, and restoring safety to municipal recreation zones. All local volunteers, neighborhood youth organizations, and residents are welcome to join us on-site to help maintain clean, beautiful green spaces. Tools, gloves, and safety vests are provided to all participants.
