Love our Earth. Stand up for our planet.
PhilHarmonia is proud to close our ninth season with the world premiere of Adam Silverman’s Elegy for the Earth – a powerful setting of poems by Susan Gubernat that bemoan the harmful effects of negligent human activity on the environment and the direness of climate change. We will also sing additional works by Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan, Saro Lynch-Thomason as well as original compositions by PhilHarmonia members, Dana K. Fiero and L. Gnadinger.
This concert is free and open to the public. Donations accepted in advance and at the door. 20% of donations received for this concert will be donated to Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania.
Ample off-street parking is available. The Salvation Army Kroc Center is off Route 1 and also on SEPTA Bus Routes H and XH.
