Delaware River Festival

End summer with a splash on Saturday, Sept. 9 with the 2023 Delaware River Festival.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Penn’s Landing and Wiggins Park will come alive with activities, all in celebration of the beautiful, wild Delaware River.
Goof around with some games. Get colorful with face painting and henna tattoos. Be creative at our arts and crafts table. Ooh and ahh when you watch fantastic fireboat displays on the water. Best of all, these activities are free!
What else is free that day? Admission to the Independence Seaport Museum (fees apply for some exhibits), and the RiverLink ferry boat to and from Camden.
Plus, you can help Partnership for the Delaware Estuary choose the winners of its Trash Free Waters art contest. You can also watch or take part in the 28-mile Loop the Delaware bike ride. [www.delawareriverfest.org]
