Delaware River Climate Practitioners Workshop

Welcome to the Climate Workshop happening at The Discovery Center on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM

Join the Delaware River Basin Commission and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 3 for a day filled with interactive sessions and expert speakers examining climate change adaptation through the lens of the 3 top climate impacts facing the Delaware River Basin: increased temperature, changes in precipitation patterns, and sea level rise.

Attendance at this event is FREE. Box lunches are available to pre-purchase or you may bring your own lunch.

Goals of the event:

1. To give tribal, state and local leaders the information needed to execute climate adaptation projects.
2. To create an ongoing Delaware River climate community that connects partners who need to work collaboratively to solve complex climate challenges.

Lunch:

Coffee, water and light snacks will be provided.

Lunch is not included in registration.

We are pleased to offer a boxed lunch from Eatable Delights catering. Orders must be complete by Oct. 24 at 1pm. Pay through Eventbrite or exact change cash on site. If you do not wish to pre-order a lunch, we strongly encourage participants to bring a brown bag lunch from home. There are limited options in the vicinity.

Option 2: Turkey Sandwich, Price: $14.00 plus processing fee

Option 3: Vegetarian Sandwich, Price: $14.00 plus processing fee

Option 4: Garden Salad with Albacore Tuna, Price: $15.00 plus processing fee

Sandwiches come with potato chips, fruit, dessert and a beverage.

Salad comes with dinner roll, fruit, dessert and a beverage.
