Climate Closet is a free, community-centered event where you can declutter your closet, find new-to-you clothing, and learn practical ways to extend the life of your wardrobe. Browse free clothing, donate items you no longer need, explore hands-on activities like clothing repair, mending, and upcycling, and connect with local climate and community organizations through educational resource tables.
Unlike a traditional one-for-one clothing swap, Climate Closet follows a mutual aid model: everyone is welcome to take what they need, whether or not they’re able to bring items to donate. Clothing donations are encouraged but never required, making the event accessible to all. Together, we’re reducing textile waste, promoting sustainable fashion, connecting with local climate initiatives, and building a stronger, more connected community.
