Happy America Recycles Day Philadelphia

Today is national America Recycles Day. Of course at GPB we pretty much think everyday should be recycle day. Nonetheless, I'm grateful for a holiday that commemorates the cause. America Recycles Day has been celebrated since 1997. AmericaRecycles.org encourages people and organizations to host events and activities that foster recycling education among colleagues, friends, neighbors and kids on or around this day. Yesterday Mayor Nutter announced that Philadelphia will celebrate America Recycles Day at several locations throughout the city. Where Can I (Wednesday) : Recycle or Donate Used Bridesmaid Dressed?

"You smell like pine needles, and have a face like sunshine!" Hopefully if you were a bridesmaid, your experience was better than that one. Although Beth's walked down the aisle, I've only been the warm-up to the main event... Approximately 7 times. Which  means I've acquired quite a few unwearable, unflattering bridesmaid dresses. Where Can I Recycle Wednesday… Deodorant Tubes?

I'll admit it, personal hygiene products stress me out. Why do they have to make shampoo, body wash, shave gel, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and every other product in an unidentifiable (most likely) plastic where I don't know if it can be recycled or not?
