After a long and exhausting day, I like to unwind with a good glass of wine... so much that I'm enjoying one in my hand as I type this post! (OK, maybe alternating typing & drinking...) But once you (or I) polish off a few bottles of sweet, sweet heaven, where can you recycle wine corks?

Today is national America Recycles Day. Of course at GPB we pretty much think everyday should be recycle day. Nonetheless, I'm grateful for a holiday that commemorates the cause. America Recycles Day has been celebrated since 1997. AmericaRecycles.org encourages people and organizations to host events and activities that foster recycling education among colleagues, friends, neighbors and kids on or around this day. Yesterday Mayor Nutter announced that Philadelphia will celebrate America Recycles Day at several locations throughout the city. Hey ladies - Do you have some extra used bras lying around? Or gents, have an ex or two's left over bra in your closet that you don't want to return? You can recycle used bras to give them a new life for a woman in need! (Find out where and how, after the jump!)

My BFF was doing the summer to winter clothing transition and ended up with a ton of extra hangers. Of course, she turned to her fav green source to determine where she could recycle her used hangers. Let's figure out where to recycle used hangers by material type:
