The Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) is hosting an upcoming summit for sustainable "Eds & Meds" development to find financial resources. And free breakfast! DVGBC and St. Joseph’s University Real Estate and Construction Alumni are hosting their 2nd Healthcare & Higher Education Summit focused on Incentives & Financial Resources for Sustainability. Happy Halloween! The future of Philadelphia doesn't have to be as spooky as today’s holiday: Our friends around the web helped us imagine future possibilities our city can flourish. This week, we realized just how much business the PHS Pop Up Garden brought to South Street West as the space evolved over the previous 4 years. Could you imagine a pedestrian street in Market East? Or even a family-friendly Philadelphia? And the way bike commuting continues to go up, can we expect less cars on the road? Now back to reality. Welp. It's Monday again. Hope you were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend! We explored the Schuylkill Boardwalk for a run, as you can see from this week's featured photo. Happy Friday! Don't get us wrong: we love men 'round here, but are still totally amped from yesterday's Pennsylvania's Conference For Women. From Robin Roberts reminding us we've all got something, to Candy Chang's transformation of neighborhoods with chalk & side of a building, to Diane Keaton's questioning of Billy Pitt, that poet on top of City Hall (and holllerrr - our logo figure) - it was an inspiring day to be in Philadelphia and a woman.
