Fairmount Civic Association Fall Cleanup Results

We told you about the awesome 2nd Annual Fall Cleanup by Fairmount Civic Association, which included tickets to the Eastern State Penitentiary, food & drink for volunteers.

Sam Holloschutz, chair of the Fairmount Civic Association’s Neighborhood Improvement Committee, happily reported that their effort picked up 110 large bags of trash, recycling and leaves with 50 volunteers. As Holloschutz said, “I can’t get over how great the streets look.”

Congrats on the cleanup, friends! They asked for volunteers and the community responded with an afternoon of hard work and great rewards.
