No need to be scared of placing your new home plant on a low shelf in range of dog tails and cat paws, succulents are ready to withstand it all.

2. Take a vacation: We’ll be here when you get back

Lucky for you cacti aren’t fickle friends, they take care of themselves while you are away.

Whether it’s storing them away in a cold dark room, or enclosing them in a plastic bag, cacti are self-sustainable. For tips on maintaining cacti while on vacation, the Cactus Lover Blogspot has you covered.
