Have you dreamed of paddling the Delaware River? Now’s your chance.
Registration for the 26th Delaware River Sojourn is officially open. The weeklong event is open to paddlers of all skill levels, and combines guided paddling, interpretative programs and camping. Participants can sign up for a day or the entire event.
The course schedule is as follows:
Registration fees in 2021 are $90 per day for adults and $60 per day for children (ages 15 and under) which includes the guided river trip, single or tandem kayak rental (with paddle and life jacket), shuttle transportation, educational programs, most meals and optional overnight camping sites. Due to COVID-19 protocols, each day will be capped at 75 participants.
There will also be a river cleanup hosted by the sojourn and the National Park Service Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River on Friday, August 6 from 2-4 PM (the day before the paddle trip begins).
