Where Can I (Wednesday) – Recycle Used Paint Cans

Your rooms may look beautiful and spankin’ new, but there’s a wee bit of paint left over.  So readers, what can you do with that unused paint cans?

The Street Department collets old and unused cans of oil-based paint to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events. There’s one tomorrow (July 26th) from 9 AM – 3 PM at the Street Department Sanitation yard at 8401 State Road (at Asburner Street). You can also get 100 extra Recycling Rewards Points for participating tomorrow!  (You can also drop off hazardous waste like computer equipment, batteries, motor oil & antifreeze.)

If the paint cans are empty, you can recycle empty (metal) pain cans with your curbside recycling.
