It’s time to rip down the holly, bright lights and recycle your tree.
Don’t throw your Christmas tree to the curb – it will go straight to the landfill. Instead, participate in the Streets Department’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program!
Make sure to remove all decorations and untie those trees before dropping off.
Christmas tree drop-off is offered citywide on Saturday, January 7, 2016, and Saturday, January 14, 2017, at these 23 locations from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Most of the Treecycling events run on the weekends, unless you’re a lucky Northern Liberties resident.
Northern Liberties (and nearby) residents can drop off trees any time from January 1-15th inside Orianna Hill ParK picnic area (the corner of Poplar & Orianna streets). You can donate to Northern Liberties’ parks at NLNA.org or Oriannahill.org as a thank you.
