Recycle

Can you Recycle Your Old Bowling Ball?

Can you recycle it? Can you donate it? What are some ideas for reusing it?

This may seem like an odd Where Can I Wednesday, but we found out in our recent visit to Waste Management: a LOT of people try to throw old bowling balls in their blue recycling bins.

We’ve got news for you.

Nope, unfortunately, bowling balls can’t be recycled in Philadelphia currently. So what CAN you do?

Try contacting local bowling stores or centers that either sell used balls or offer them to young or inexperienced bowlers. Some thrift stores may accept them. You can also offer it using nonprofit Freecycle’s website.
