Where Can I Recycle Crocs?

Crocs: we’ve all seen them, and at one point, most of us had a pair of those bright colored, light-weight rubber colored shoes. Although the Crocs fad has come and gone, many of us still have an old pair stored in the back of our closet.  Since Crocs are made out of mostly petroleum products, they’re not biodegradable.

How to Recycle Old Crocs

Looking to get rid of those odd clogs? Here’s how:

Recycle & Donate: Programs  Soles4Souls will swiftly take your old Crocs off your hands. The company collects new and used shoes and directly donates them to people in need in over 127 countries. By donating, you’re keeping waste out of landfills and contributing to a great cause!

Gardening: Old Crocs make for great gardening tools. With drainage holes already built in, try filling your Crocs with some dirt and a plant. Crocs also double as a great deterrent. If you’re having trouble with Deer, try hanging them around your garden.

Storage:  Crocs are a great storage tool. Hang a pair on the wall and you’ll find you can easily place writing utensils, scissors, and various other small crafting tools in them.
