Tierra Mia Organic Nail Spa – Philadelphia's Best!

Every day we’re exposed to tons of chemicals – whether in our food, in products we’re using, and putting in OR on our bodies. Gross to think about, right?

Luckily, you don’t have to worry about your nails being toxic – A green innovation has landed right in Philadelphia!  Tierra Mia Organic Nail Spa is the nation’s first truly organic nail spa located at 328 South 17th street in Rittenhouse.

Reinventing the traditional nail experience, Tierra Mia Organic Nail Spa is setting a new standards for non-toxic nail spas across the nation. Instead of using an array of toxic chemicals, Tierra Mia creates an organic oasis completely free of harmful ingredients, using only non-toxic, water-based nail polishes, certified organic base-coat and organic nail polish remover.

Better yet – going green won’t compromise quality.  Philadelphia Magazine has already named Tierra Mia as the 2009 Best of Philly award for Manicure/Pedicure.

Karina Restrepo and Justin Mitchell, owners of Tierra Mia, have made it their mission to bring safe organic practices to what is considered the beauty industries most toxic sector. Check out their site and blog for studies on the potential dangers continuously using non-organic options.
