Happy Monday! Hope you’re psyched to start the week now that Leo took a few minutes of his Golden Globe speech to talk about sustainability.

We’ve got another week of fabulous, local events for you:

Week events January 11 – 14th:

Women Bike PHL- Coffee Club – Downtown | Wednesday Jan 13th at 8 AM | Pay your own way

Each Wednesday, Women Bike PHL meet at a different coffee shop in Philadelphia for Coffee Club — an informal gathering where Philly’s women bicyclists can share tips, rant, support, celebrate, and, most importantly….CAFFEINATE together. Plenty Cafe, 1602 Spruce St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19103

GENA Coat Drive | Wednesday January 13 11 AM – 10 PM | Free

Share the warmth Wednesday January 13th! Join us at Tap Room on 19th and kindly donate a gently used clean coat to One Warm Coat. Donations accepted for men’s, women’s or children’s sizes and will benefit our less fortunate neighbors. Tap Room on 19th

SEED SWAP | JANUARY 13 @ 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM| Free

Join the Culinary Literacy Center and the Philadelphia Seed Exchange for a winter seed swap, since January is the perfect time to begin planning your garden and share seeds. Bring your own seeds for culinary crops to share. Culinary Literacy Center on the 4th floor of the Free Library of Philadelphia starting at 6 p.m.

Flying Kite Media Turns 5! | Thursday January 14, 5:30-9 PM | FREE

Join online publication Flying Kit  to celebrate their 5 year anniversary!. Light snacks will be provided by bufad pizza and The Trestle Inn. For lovers of the visual arts, we’ll be projecting our favorite masthead images from the years past on walls throughout the bar. Trestle Inn (339 N 11th St).

WEEKend EVENTS JANUARY 15 – 17TH:

GIANTS OF THE FOREST | JANUARY 16 @ 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM | $5

During this guided hike, we will see some of the biggest trees in our forest – some over 13’ around. Learn how to identify these trees based on their winter characteristics, hear about the history of the land and how human use has influenced our forest. Space is limited. Registration required; Free for Schuylkill Center members.

Beer & Yoga | Saturday January 16th at 9 AM | $30

Venture out to the ‘burbs for a yoga class taught in our Downingtown brewpub, then treat yourself to a tasty menu paired perfectly with a delicious seasonal Victory brews!
